1. Introduction

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of todointangier.com (the “Site”) and any booking, quote request, or purchase made through it. By using the Site or requesting a booking, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Site.

Todointangier.com is operated by Expertbook, based in Tangier, Morocco.

2. What todointangier.com Is

Todointangier.com is a local booking platform, not a tour operator itself for most activities listed. We connect travelers directly with licensed local guides, drivers, chefs, and activity operators in Tangier, including (but not limited to) operators such as Mnar Castle, ArtFlow, MJ Bike Morocco, and independent licensed guides and skippers.

For each activity, the actual experience is delivered by the named local operator, not by todointangier.com directly. Todointangier.com’s role is to:

  • Present accurate information about each activity
  • Process your booking or quote request
  • Facilitate communication between you and the operator where needed
  • Provide customer support before, during, and after your booking

Where todointangier.com directly owns and operates an activity (for example, activities using todointangier.com’s own equipment or staff), this will be stated clearly on that activity’s page.

3. Booking Process

3.1 Online booking. Most activities can be booked directly through the Site’s booking system, which will show real-time availability and pricing.

3.2 Quote requests (WhatsApp / contact form). Some bookings are handled by requesting a quote via WhatsApp or the contact form on the Site. In this case, your booking is not confirmed until you receive explicit confirmation from todointangier.com or the operator.

3.3 Request-based activities. A small number of activities (currently: the Traditional Zellige Mosaic Workshop) are confirmed on request rather than instantly. For these, expect a response within the timeframe stated on that activity’s page (currently up to 2 business days) rather than immediate confirmation.

3.4 Accuracy of information. You’re responsible for providing accurate information when booking, including the number of guests, contact details, and any relevant health, dietary, or accessibility information requested for a specific activity.

3.5 Minimum/maximum group sizes. Some activities have a minimum number of guests required per booking, or a maximum capacity per vehicle, boat, or session. These limits are stated on the relevant activity page and must be respected bookings that don’t meet a stated minimum may be declined or require payment for the minimum group size.

4. Prices & Payment

4.1 Currency. Prices are listed in Moroccan Dirham (MAD) unless otherwise stated. Any prices shown in other currencies (e.g. USD) are approximate conversions for reference only; the amount actually charged will be in MAD unless otherwise agreed.

4.2 What’s included. Each activity page lists what is included in the price (for example, transport, equipment, a meal) and what is not (for example, gratuities, personal expenses, food unless stated). Please review these details before booking.

4.3 Payment methods. Payment may be collected online via card at checkout (where available), or directly with the operator on the day of the activity, depending on the activity and current payment setup. The accepted payment method will be confirmed with you before your booking is final.

4.4 Price changes. Prices may change without notice for bookings not yet confirmed. Once your booking is confirmed, the price you were quoted will not change, except in the case of changes you request (e.g. adding guests).

5. Cancellations & Refunds

5.1 General policy. Unless a specific activity states otherwise, most activities offer free cancellation up to 24 hours before the scheduled start time, with a full refund for cancellations made within that window.

5.2 Late cancellations. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the start time may not be eligible for a refund, at the operator’s discretion, since arrangements (staff, equipment, provisions) are typically made in advance.

5.3 No-shows. Failure to arrive at the agreed meeting point and time, without prior cancellation, is treated as a no-show and is not eligible for a refund.

5.4 Operator-initiated cancellations. If an activity is cancelled by todointangier.com or the operator (for example, due to unsafe weather conditions), you will be offered a full refund or the option to reschedule to another available date.

5.5 Activity-specific policies. Some activities may have different cancellation terms (for example, longer notice periods for activities requiring more advance planning). The specific policy for each activity is stated on that activity’s page and takes precedence over this general policy where they differ.

6. Your Role as an Intermediary Liability

6.1 Operator responsibility. For activities delivered by a third-party local operator, that operator is responsible for the safe and proper delivery of the activity, including compliance with applicable Moroccan licensing, safety, and insurance requirements. Todointangier.com takes reasonable care to work only with licensed, reputable local operators, but does not directly control their day-to-day operations.

6.2 Limitation of liability. To the extent permitted by law, todointangier.com’s liability is limited to facilitating your booking. We are not liable for injury, loss, damage, or other harm arising from the conduct of an activity itself, except where such harm results directly from our own negligence in the booking or facilitation process.

6.3 Physical activities carry inherent risk. Several activities listed on the Site including but not limited to 4×4 off-road tours, horseback riding, boat trips, fishing, e-bike tours, and camel rides involve physical activity and inherent risk. By booking these activities, you acknowledge and accept these risks. Please read the “Good to Know” and safety information on each activity page carefully, including any stated health conditions, age limits, or physical requirements, before booking.

6.4 Health and fitness. You are responsible for assessing your own fitness and health suitability for any activity you book, including disclosing any relevant conditions to the operator where requested (for example, pregnancy, back problems, or heart conditions noted on specific activity pages).

6.5 Travel documents. You are responsible for holding valid identification, passport, and any visa required for your nationality, including for activities that cross an international border (such as ferry day trips to Spain, where offered). Todointangier.com is not responsible for denied entry or travel disruption due to inadequate documentation.

7. Your Conduct

You agree to:

  • Follow the reasonable instructions of guides, drivers, skippers, and instructors during any activity, particularly safety instructions
  • Arrive on time at the agreed meeting point, as late arrival may result in reduced activity time or forfeiture without refund
  • Treat local operators, staff, and other guests with respect
  • Not bring prohibited items (as specified per activity for example, valuables on boat trips)

Todointangier.com and its operators reserve the right to refuse service or end an activity early, without refund, in cases of unsafe, disruptive, or abusive conduct.

8. Force Majeure

Neither todointangier.com nor its operators are liable for failure to perform an activity due to circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to extreme weather, natural disasters, government restrictions, strikes, or public health emergencies. In such cases, we will make reasonable efforts to offer rescheduling or a refund.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site including text, images, and branding is the property of todointangier.com or its licensors and may not be reproduced without permission.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in effect at the time of your booking will govern that booking. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Morocco. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Tangier, Morocco, unless otherwise required by applicable consumer protection law.
