Shared Half-Day Tour of Tangier: Rmilat, Cap Spartel, Achakar & Hercules Caves

This shared half-day tour of Tangier covers four highlights on the Atlantic coast: Rmilat Forest, Cap Spartel, Achakar beach with its camels, and the Hercules Caves. You are picked up from your hotel or any address in Tangier, spend up to 30 minutes at each stop, and are dropped back where you started.

About This Shared Half-Day Tangier Tour

What is this tour? It is a shared half-day tour of Tangier that covers four stops on the western side of the city: Rmilat Forest, Cap Spartel, Achakar beach and the Hercules Caves. You are picked up from your hotel or any address in Tangier, spend up to 30 minutes at each stop, and are brought back to the place where you started. The price is per person, so you do not pay for a whole vehicle.

Is it private or shared? It is shared. You travel with other guests on a fixed route and a fixed schedule. This is what makes it a simple, affordable way to see Tangier’s coastline in a few hours. If you would rather have your own vehicle and a licensed guide, the Tangier City Private Tour is the better fit.

Where does it start? Pickup is flexible. Whether you are in a hotel, an apartment or anywhere else in Tangier, the driver collects you from your address. The tour ends at the Hercules Caves, and every guest is then taken back to their own pickup point.

Stop 1: Rmilat Forest. The first stop is the forest of Rmilat, a green area close to Tangier. Guests who want to walk into the forest can do so, and the group waits about 20 minutes. If you want to try an activity there, you pay for it directly.

Stop 2: Cap Spartel. Next is Cap Spartel, the point where the Atlantic Ocean meets the Mediterranean Sea, at the entrance of the Strait of Gibraltar. It is a viewpoint and a photo stop, and a good place to understand why Tangier sits between two seas. Any optional activity or paid photo option is paid directly by the guest.

Stop 3: Achakar and the camels. At Achakar beach the group stops next to the camels. You can simply take photos, or you can ride a camel. Camel rides and camel photos are paid directly to the camel owner.

Stop 4: The Hercules Caves. The last stop is the Hercules Caves, one of the best-known landmarks near Tangier, famous for its sea-facing opening shaped like the outline of Africa. Guests who want to go inside pay the entry fee themselves.

What is included, and what is not? The tour includes pickup and drop-off in Tangier, transport in a shared vehicle, and time at all four stops. Optional activities, camel rides, camel photos, cave entry, food and tips are not included. Bring some cash for the extras, as they are paid on the spot.

Who is it for? Travelers with a few hours in Tangier, cruise and ferry passengers, couples, families and small groups who want to see the main sights of the western coast without planning transport. It suits guests who like a clear schedule and do not need a private guide.

Why choose it? Four highlights in one outing, flexible pickup, a fixed time limit at every stop so nothing drags on, and full freedom to skip any paid extra. You only pay for what you decide to do.

Ready to book? Send your hotel or pickup address and your preferred date on WhatsApp, and we will confirm your spot on the next shared departure.
